Chip is dedicated to bettering the life of himself and others through conversation and service. Unafraid of the gritty, and embracing his Midwestern roots, he will work as hard as possible for you and our community.

Chip's love of service in his late teen years as a direct result of the influence of Rotarians in his hometown of Muskegon when he was the founding President of the MAISD Interact Club in 2012, while a senior at Orchard View High School. Through this community relationship, Chip first traveled out of the United States with local Rotarians to help build water filters for locals who lived in the mountains outside of San Pedro Sula, Honduras. In 2021, Chip became a full fledged Rotarian with the Muskegon Rotary Club and has spent most of his time working with young folks in the Rotary Youth Exchange Program, and the many new Interact Clubs in the Muskegon.

Chip studied History at the University of Michigan, graduating in 2016. Throughout college, Chip was actively involved in many student groups and acted as a Campus Coordinator for Students for Liberty, and was a founding President of the Young Americans for Liberty chapter in 2012. In his summers, he often worked at temporary factory jobs doing assembly at different shops in the Muskegon area, and traveling to student conferences and seminars including IHS, FEE, Freedom Fest, and others when he could.

During his time as a student activist, Chip fought to successfully reform illegal policies the University of Michigan had in place directly resulting in helping fund Young Americans for Liberty, and other conservative and religious groups on campus.

Following graduation from the University of Michigan, Chip left Ann Arbor and relocated to Northern Virginia to work on the National Staff of Young Americans for Liberty, where he learned valuable communication and fundraising skills. Longing for a return to Michigan, Chip relocated to the metro Detroit area where he worked as an MLO for Quicken Loans (Rocket Mortgage) specializing exclusively in refinances.
